Rick Landine

Rick Landine is a registered professional engineer in the Province of New Brunswick and is an Associate Partner of the Washburn Financial team. Rick was raised in Fredericton and received his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Civil/Environmental Engineering from UNB. Having a keen interest in business, Rick quickly found himself working on a variety of domestic and international projects as an environmental engineer, focusing on business development and technical sales. Rick and his family have lived in Estonia, Chile, and Toronto, and finally settled back home in Fredericton in 2001 where he and his wife, Carolyn, enjoy raising their sons Alex and Joey and being near parents and family. Rick has always had a strong interest in financial matters and formally entered the financial planning profession in 2002.

In his words,

“My work as an environmental engineer has always required a careful analysis of each situation, followed by research of the available options and finally, implementation of the selected technologies. My father taught me that a properly engineered solution is the one that gets the job done correctly at least cost. Having learned to apply this to projects throughout North America, South America, the Middle East and Europe, I gained a wealth of business and technical experience which now enables me to work in the financial services sector with a solid, engineered approach. I am a professional and I put the needs of my clients at the forefront. Rick works with individuals, families and corporate clients and welcomes all to his practice. He is also fluent in Spanish.
